Welcome to my website profile and online print shop.
I am a traveler and photographer specializing in landscapes and documentary travel work. I gravitate towards and enjoy working with film for its challenges, unique atheistic, and fun that goes along with experimenting with different cameras and formats. From small 35mm point and shoots up to large format 4x5 field cameras.
Living out in the American West I draw inspiration from the mountains and deserts around my home. Hiking, backpacking and camping has always been my primary past time and bringing a camera along into these wild places has always been a medium I’ve used to appreciate the outdoors even more.
With a background in history, archaeology, and anthropology I’ve always had a soft spot for relics of the past and nostalgic pieces of yesteryear. Film more than anything helps capture the essence of some of these places and pieces of the past and I always seek out opportunities to incorporate some of this Americana into landscapes.
I enjoy writing as much as I do photography and have started a blog here to tell some of the stories that are associated with a lot of the photographs I take.
